Summary
BuyVM, subsidiary of Frantech, the phenomenal budget VPS provider. Why is it phenomenal? Check this out: http://doesbuyvmhavestock.com, they are always out of stock because so many people want to use BuyVM. I’m curious, are they that good? People said that even their price is low / budget type price, but the performance of their boxes are good. So i decide to try them, 256MB memory OpenVZ. First time i tested the speed was very fast, i didn’t know whether is it 100Mb/s or 1Gb/s port, and the performance like what is it called? Premium VPS probably, and i felt satisfied with the box. The node where my VPS located has 4 Core Processor of Intel Xeon L5420, not so “WOW” CPU, but i still feel good until a few days ago the node datacenter (if I’m not mistaken) in Hurricane Electric experiencing a networking power issue. Since that happened, my vps performance becomes slower. But it is still worth the budget price, i just hope that this only a temporary issue, and the performance will be back like the first time i tested this virgin box. So for conclusion, i will personally give BuyVM 7.5 from 10 points.
buyvm ‘s service is terrible
